Hi!

В продолжение дискуссии об URW шрифтах (бывшей в списке рассылки
ru на li.org в начале 2003 года) - см нижеследующие письма.

К сожалению, шрифты Филиппова сильно отличаются в части метрик
 от оригиналов, и поэтому их следует либо привести в полное
 соответствие по метрикам, либо (что лучше) переименовать - как
 сами файлы шрифтов, так и FontName. Иначе получается путаница.
 :(

This is a well-known issue; see, for instance, the thread
"Acrobat Reader 5.x/6.x and Ghostscript's latest URW Palladio
 fonts", started on 2004-07-23 in the news group comp.text.tex.

The only reliable set of URW base fonts is the one in the CTAN
directory fonts/urw/base35.
